Position: Clerk / Stenographer
Location: Punjab & Haryana (as per court allocation)

We are seeking detail-oriented and service-minded professionals for Clerk and Stenographer roles supporting day-to-day court administration. The ideal candidate is organized, proficient with computers and office tools, and capable of handling confidential information with integrity. Stenographer applicants should be comfortable with dictation and transcription work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and process court files, registers, and administrative records with accuracy.
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents such as notices, letters, cause lists, and internal communications.
- Support court operations through data entry, document scanning, indexing, and record management.
- Coordinate with court staff, advocates, and litigants for routine administrative tasks and information requests.
- Handle inward/outward correspondence and ensure timely dispatch and receipt tracking.
- Follow established procedures for document confidentiality, retention, and compliance.
- For Stenographer: Take dictation, transcribe proceedings/notes, and produce error-free typed drafts within timelines.
- Assist in scheduling, meeting coordination, and other office support duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Educational qualification as per applicable recruitment rules for Clerk/Stenographer posts (court/government norms).
- Proficiency in computer operations, including typing, document formatting, and basic office software (word processing, spreadsheets, email).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining quality and confidentiality.
- Professional conduct, integrity, and adherence to workplace policies.
- For Stenographer: Demonstrated stenography and transcription capability; typing and shorthand speed as per selection criteria.
- Willingness to undergo selection tests (written/typing/stenography) and document verification as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in legal, court, or government office environments.
- Familiarity with record-keeping practices and document workflows.
- Knowledge of English/Hindi/Punjabi as relevant to role requirements.
