Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and service-driven professionals for the roles of Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English). These positions support day-to-day administrative operations, documentation, correspondence, records management, and office coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proficient in typing/stenography (as applicable), and capable of maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including filing, record keeping, and document management.
  • Draft, format, and process official correspondence, notes, and office communications.
  • Maintain registers, databases, and office records with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications; support departmental workflows.
  • Handle inbound/outbound communication (email, letters, phone) and route items to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with document verification, compilation of reports, and preparation of files for review/approval.
  • For JSA: Perform typing tasks in English/Hindi as per required speed and accuracy standards.
  • For Junior Stenographer: Take dictation and prepare transcripts in Hindi/English with required proficiency; manage stenography-related documentation.
  • Support compliance with office procedures, confidentiality requirements, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • For Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Typing proficiency of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi.
  • For Junior Stenographer: Demonstrated proficiency in stenography (Hindi/English as applicable).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under timelines.
  • Working knowledge of standard office practices and basic computer operations.
  • Good communication skills and a professional, service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
