National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Admissions & Outreach Coordinator to support end-to-end admission operations, applicant communications, documentation workflows, and stakeholder coordination. Responsibilities
- Coordinate the admissions lifecycle including inquiry handling, application tracking, document verification support, and offer/selection communications.
- Maintain applicant records, status updates, and reporting dashboards with high data accuracy.
- Support publication and distribution of admission-related notices, key dates, instructions, and updates across official channels.
- Assist in organizing entrance/admission activities such as counseling sessions, helpdesks, orientation support, and stakeholder coordination.
- Respond to applicant queries via email/phone/helpdesk and ensure timely resolution or escalation to relevant departments.
- Ensure adherence to institute policies, eligibility criteria, and documentation standards; flag discrepancies for review.
- Coordinate with academic departments, accounts/fee teams, and IT/portal teams to ensure smooth processing of applications and fee-related steps.
- Prepare periodic summaries and operational reports (applications received, pending documents, conversion metrics, and issue logs).
- Support compliance and confidentiality requirements for student data and institutional records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education administration, student services, or a related operations role (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, applicant-first approach.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and data accurately.
- Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, email tools); familiarity with online application portals is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential applicant/student information.
