Position: Admissions & Enrollment Coordinator
Focus Area: Gujarat Ayurved University Admission Form processing, applicant support, and admissions operations
We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions & Enrollment Coordinator to manage end-to-end admissions support with a primary focus on guiding applicants through the Gujarat Ayurved University Admission Form process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping students, maintaining accurate records, coordinating timelines, and ensuring smooth application workflows across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants regarding admission forms, eligibility, required documents, fees, and deadlines.
- Guide candidates through online application steps, including registration, form completion, document upload, and submission troubleshooting.
- Verify application completeness and accuracy (personal details, academic records, category certificates, photographs/signatures, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely updates to admission notices, instructions, and FAQs.
- Maintain admissions trackers, applicant databases, and communication logs with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support publication and dissemination of key updates (important dates, correction windows, status checks, document verification instructions).
- Assist in handling applicant queries via email/phone/chat and ensure timely, professional resolution.
- Support document verification workflows and communicate next steps to applicants (where applicable).
- Prepare periodic reports on application volumes, common issues, turnaround times, and improvement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and data privacy requirements when handling applicant information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Administration, Education, or related fields preferred).
- 1+ year experience in admissions, student services, customer support, or administrative operations (freshers with strong aptitude may be considered).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a student-first approach.
- High attention to detail and ability to review forms and documents systematically.
- Comfort working with online portals, spreadsheets, and document management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle peak admission cycles calmly.
- Working knowledge of common applicant documentation (ID proof, academic certificates, category certificates) is a plus.
- Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive personal data.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting university/college admissions or online application workflows.
- Basic understanding of form correction/re-upload processes and applicant status tracking.
- Ability to create clear instructions, templates, and step-by-step guides for applicants.
- Familiarity with CRM/helpdesk tools is an advantage.
