We are seeking qualified and passionate educators for the role of LT Grade Assistant Teacher (Sahayak Adhyapak) to deliver high-quality instruction, support student development, and contribute to a positive learning environment in government schools across Uttarakhand.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver subject-specific lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Create a structured classroom environment that supports effective learning and student engagement.
- Assess student learning through tests, assignments, and classroom activities; maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, including remedial instruction where required.
- Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and other academic/administrative activities as assigned.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety and well-being during school hours.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress when required by school policy.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the related/concerned subject stream from a recognized institution with B.Ed. OR B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed.
- Eligibility Test: Must have qualified UTET/CTET Paper-II.
- Age Limit (as on 01 July 2024): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 42 years (age relaxation as per applicable rules).
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom teaching skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a student-centric approach.
- Ability to maintain academic documentation and follow institutional processes.
