Position: Trade Instructor & Lab Attendant (Various Posts)
Overview: We are seeking qualified and motivated professionals for various instructional and laboratory support roles. This position is suited for candidates with relevant degrees/diplomas who are passionate about skill development, practical training, and maintaining high standards in workshop/lab environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver trade/subject instruction through practical and theory sessions as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations, assignments, and assessments to support learner outcomes.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and compliance with lab/workshop protocols during sessions.
- Set up, operate, and assist with laboratory/workshop equipment and tools required for training activities.
- Maintain inventory of consumables, tools, and equipment; record usage and report shortages or damage.
- Support examination and evaluation activities, including practical tests, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate with department staff to schedule lab/workshop usage and ensure readiness for sessions.
- Ensure proper upkeep of labs/workshops, including cleanliness, calibration checks (where applicable), and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Assist in documentation and administrative tasks related to training delivery, attendance, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Relevant degree/diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification aligned with the trade/discipline for the specific post.
- Prior experience in teaching/training, workshop supervision, or laboratory assistance is preferred (role-dependent).
- Working knowledge of tools, equipment handling, and standard safety practices.
- Ability to communicate concepts clearly and support learners with varying skill levels.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining records, inventory, and schedules.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting (preferred).
