UP Police Sub Inspector (SI) – Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Coordinator

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented UP Police Sub Inspector (SI) – Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Coordinator to support end-to-end coordination of PET-related operations, including admit card workflows, candidate communication, venue readiness, documentation checks, and on-ground compliance. This role works closely with examination administration teams to ensure PET/DV/PST activities run smoothly, securely, and in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate PET schedules, venue logistics, and daily operational plans in alignment with published timelines.
  • Support admit card and candidate list workflows, including verification of candidate credentials and issue escalation.
  • Manage candidate helpdesk operations (queries related to login, registration number, DOB/password, verification codes, and instructions).
  • Ensure compliance with identity verification requirements and document checks (e.g., government ID validation and photograph matching).
  • Assist in organizing and monitoring reporting, attendance capture, and queue management at testing centers.
  • Coordinate with security and venue staff to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and orderly conduct of the PET process.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate attendance, discrepancies, incident reports, and daily summaries.
  • Provide clear instructions to candidates regarding reporting time, required documents, and center rules.
  • Support coordination between PET teams and DV/PST teams where applicable, ensuring handoffs are documented.
  • Prepare operational checklists, briefing notes, and post-event reports for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent administrative/operations experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in exam administration, event operations, government recruitment support, or large-scale candidate coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working with candidate data and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills in Hindi and English (written and verbal), with the ability to explain instructions clearly.
  • Proficiency with basic computer operations and web portals (login workflows, downloading documents, printing, spreadsheets).
  • Ability to work on-site for extended hours during PET windows and handle high candidate volumes.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately and document outcomes.
  • Preferred: Prior experience supporting DV/PST/PET processes or similar physical testing/verification operations.
