Position: Admissions Coordinator (NIT Trichy Admission Forms)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to support the end-to-end processing and coordination of admission forms and applicant communications related to NIT Trichy programs. This role focuses on accuracy, compliance, timely updates, and excellent candidate support across online application workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the admission form lifecycle, including application intake, document collection, and verification readiness.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in internal systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Respond to applicant queries via email/phone/helpdesk, providing clear guidance on eligibility, required documents, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Publish and update admission-related notices and links (e.g., application forms, admit cards, answer keys, notifications) in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Track important dates and milestones (application windows, exam dates, result announcements) and ensure timely communication.
  • Support quality checks on published information to reduce errors and ensure consistency across web pages and communications.
  • Assist with compiling reports on application volumes, common issues, and processing status for internal review.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to escalate portal issues and verify fixes (login problems, payment issues, upload errors).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures for admissions communications and record handling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for Administration, Education, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions support, academic administration, customer support, or operations (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional applicant-facing content.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and documentation tools (e.g., MS Excel/Google Sheets, Google Workspace/MS Office).
  • Comfort working with online portals, form workflows, and document management processes.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Nice to have: Experience with education portals, CMS updates, or basic HTML content formatting.
