Position: Staff Nurse Grade II
We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Staff Nurse Grade II professionals to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role supports inpatient and/or outpatient services, ensures adherence to clinical protocols, and contributes to safe, effective, and respectful patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress; document observations accurately in patient records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Assist physicians and senior nursing staff during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Maintain patient safety, including fall prevention, identification checks, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive health practices.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, lab, pharmacy, radiology) to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of wards/units; ensure proper handling of biomedical waste.
- Participate in shift handovers, nursing rounds, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support hospital/departmental audits and compliance requirements, including documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent as applicable).
- Valid nursing registration with the relevant Nursing Council.
- Working knowledge of clinical nursing practices, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and hospital information systems (preferred).
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct.
