Position: Admissions Coordinator – College of Agricultural Technology

We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-minded Admissions Coordinator to support end-to-end student admissions for our College of Agricultural Technology. This role coordinates application intake, eligibility verification, applicant communications, and admissions events while ensuring accurate records, timely processing, and a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the admissions lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment, including application receipt, data entry, document tracking, and status updates.
  • Verify applicant eligibility by reviewing academic records, identity documents, category/fee documentation (as applicable), and other required materials.
  • Coordinate admission timelines, checklists, and internal workflows to ensure deadlines are met and applicants receive timely updates.
  • Respond to applicant and parent/student queries via email, phone, and in-person channels with clear, accurate guidance.
  • Support examination/admission-related communications such as instructions, schedules, and notices; assist with publishing updates on web portals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in admissions/CRM systems and ensure confidentiality and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Assist in organizing admission drives, campus visits, counseling sessions, webinars, and orientation programs.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, finance, and student services to coordinate fee verification, seat allocation processes, and onboarding steps.
  • Prepare periodic reports on application volume, conversion metrics, incomplete applications, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Support continuous improvement by documenting processes, creating templates, and recommending workflow enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, Agriculture-related fields, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in admissions, academic administration, student services, or customer-facing operations (fresh graduates with strong administrative skills may be considered).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain requirements and processes clearly.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs) and comfort learning admissions/CRM tools.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive student information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain a helpful, student-first approach.
  • Preferred: Experience with online application portals, document verification workflows, or education-sector compliance processes.
