Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) to deliver high-quality instruction at the middle/secondary level. The ideal candidate will bring strong subject expertise, effective classroom management, and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through engaging, inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons using effective pedagogical strategies.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports student learning.
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom participation; maintain accurate academic records.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including remedial and enrichment support.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations as applicable.
  • Develop and use teaching-learning materials, including digital resources, to enhance classroom instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, academic initiatives, and co-curricular activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, school events, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding guidelines, and applicable education regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject/discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Teaching qualification as required for TGT roles (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent), as per local/regulatory norms.
  • Prior teaching experience at middle/secondary level is preferred; strong freshers may be considered.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in classroom management, lesson planning, and student assessment methods.
  • Comfort with educational technology (smart classroom tools, LMS, digital content).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a collaborative mindset.
  • High standards of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity.
  • Ability to work with diverse learners and foster an inclusive learning environment.
