Position: Anganwadi Supervisor (Women) (TSP & Non-TSP Areas)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and community-focused Anganwadi Supervisor (Women) to support and strengthen field-level implementation of women and child development services. This role involves supervising Anganwadi Centres, monitoring service delivery, guiding frontline workers, ensuring compliance with program standards, and contributing to improved outcomes in nutrition, early childhood care, health awareness, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Anganwadi Workers/Helpers to ensure effective delivery of services at Anganwadi Centres.
  • Conduct routine field visits, inspections, and performance reviews; provide on-the-job guidance and coaching.
  • Monitor implementation of nutrition supplementation, growth monitoring, preschool activities, and community outreach programs.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and timely submission of required documentation.
  • Support beneficiary identification, enrollment, and follow-up for women, infants, and children under relevant schemes.
  • Coordinate with local health, education, and administrative stakeholders to improve service convergence.
  • Identify operational gaps, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement at the centre level.
  • Promote awareness initiatives related to maternal health, child health, immunization, sanitation, and nutrition.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable guidelines, safety protocols, and ethical standards in community-facing work.

Requirements

  • Female candidate (role aligned to women-focused program supervision needs).
  • Relevant educational qualification as per applicable government/board norms for Anganwadi Supervisor roles.
  • Prior experience in Anganwadi/ICDS, community development, public health, education, or related field work is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel/field visits within assigned areas (TSP or Non-TSP).
  • Basic proficiency in documentation and reporting; ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Integrity, empathy, and a commitment to public service delivery.
