We are seeking a professional and safety-focused Chauffeur (Driver) – Group C to support daily transportation requirements. The role requires a valid driving license, proven driving experience, and a strong commitment to punctuality, discretion, and road safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicles safely and responsibly while following all applicable traffic rules and organizational protocols.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per duty schedules and official requirements.
- Maintain the vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition, including routine checks (fuel, oil, brakes, lights, tires) and reporting issues promptly.
- Coordinate servicing, repairs, and periodic maintenance as directed; maintain basic vehicle documentation as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct while on duty.
- Support administrative requirements related to transport duties, including logbook entries and duty records when applicable.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation / Higher Secondary (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
- License: Valid driving license (as applicable for the vehicle category).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of unblemished/relevant driving experience.
- Age: 18 to 27 years (age relaxations may apply as per applicable rules).
- Strong knowledge of local routes and safe driving practices.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate courteous behavior.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination (OMR-based, bilingual; 50 questions; 100 marks)
- Driving Skill Test (100 marks)
- Interview (40 marks)

- Pay scale as per Level 5 of the Pay Matrix (7th CPC) or applicable organizational pay structure.
