Position: Junior Engineer (JE)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and field-ready Junior Engineer (JE) to support planning, execution, and supervision of engineering works. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and assisting in project delivery across assigned sites/sections.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and review basic drawings, estimates, measurements, and technical documentation.
  • Supervise site activities to ensure work is completed as per specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for materials, manpower, and scheduling.
  • Maintain site records, measurement books, progress reports, and compliance checklists.
  • Support inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting at site.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, statutory guidelines, and departmental procedures.
  • Assist senior engineers in audits, reporting, and resolution of technical issues.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical or relevant discipline).
  • 0–3 years of experience in site execution, maintenance, or project support (freshers may apply where applicable).
  • Working knowledge of engineering standards, basic estimation/measurement practices, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel/Word) is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel/work on-site as per project requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity in reporting, and commitment to quality and safety.
