Responsibilities
As an Apprentice, you will undergo structured on-the-job training under experienced railway professionals. Responsibilities typically include:
- Participating in practical training and learning activities aligned to the assigned trade.
- Assisting in routine maintenance/repair/operations tasks under supervision (as applicable to the trade).
- Following safety procedures, workshop/yard discipline, and standard operating practices.
- Maintaining training records/logbooks and completing assigned modules on time.
- Supporting teams in day-to-day technical tasks while building job-ready competencies.
Requirements
- Education: Class 10th/SSC (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- Technical Qualification: ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT-approved (or SCVT as applicable) institute.
- Age Limit (as on 15 Dec 2022): Minimum 15 years, Maximum 24 years.
- Age Relaxation: As per Government/Railway rules for eligible categories.
