Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Stenographer

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable candidates for the roles of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Stenographer. These positions support day-to-day administrative operations through accurate data entry, documentation, office coordination, and, for Stenographers, high-speed dictation and transcription. The selection process is conducted via a Computer Based Test (CBT).

Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including file handling, record maintenance, and document preparation.
  • Enter, update, and verify data in office systems with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Draft, format, and proofread letters, notices, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely processing of routine office tasks.
  • For Stenographer: Take dictation in English or Hindi and produce error-free transcripts within required timelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of official information and follow organizational procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (as per role guidelines/notification).
  • LDC Skill Requirement: Typing speed of 35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi.
  • Stenographer Skill Requirement: Dictation speed of 80 wpm in English or Hindi for 10 minutes.
  • Working knowledge of computers and office productivity tools (typing, formatting, email).
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
