Responsibilities
- Participate in structured apprenticeship training within assigned railway cluster/workshop/unit.
- Assist technical teams in day-to-day maintenance, repair, fabrication, or operations tasks as per the relevant trade.
- Follow safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and departmental guidelines at all times.
- Maintain training logs/records and complete assigned practical tasks within defined timelines.
- Support supervisors and senior technicians in workshop/field activities and learn industry-standard practices.
Requirements
- Education: Class 10 (High School/Matric) pass with ITI/NCVT certificate in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit (as on 29 August 2023):
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Age relaxation: As per applicable rules
- Ability to work in a technical/training environment and follow instructions.
- Basic discipline, punctuality, and willingness to learn in a regulated government/railway setup.
