Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Admissions Officer to support end-to-end admissions operations for academic programs. This role focuses on managing application workflows, coordinating with internal stakeholders, guiding applicants, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and supporting communications related to admission forms, eligibility, documentation, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete admissions lifecycle, including application intake, document verification, eligibility checks, and status updates.
  • Coordinate admission form releases, updates, and process documentation; ensure accuracy and consistency across channels.
  • Respond to applicant queries via email/phone/helpdesk and provide clear guidance on requirements, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Maintain applicant records in admissions systems/CRMs; ensure data quality, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
  • Support admissions communications such as notifications, instructions, FAQs, and applicant advisories.
  • Coordinate with academic departments, examination teams, and administrative units to validate criteria and schedule steps in the admissions process.
  • Assist in planning and executing admissions events (webinars, counselling sessions, open houses) and outreach initiatives.
  • Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on application volumes, conversion metrics, and operational performance.
  • Ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory requirements; support documentation for reviews and audits.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce turnaround time and improve applicant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Administration, Education Management, Operations, or related fields).
  • 2+ years of experience in admissions, academic administration, student services, or similar operations roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, email tools) and comfort with databases/CRMs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret eligibility criteria, policy documents, and procedural guidelines accurately.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive applicant and institutional information.
  • Preferred: Experience with online application portals, document management workflows, and reporting/analytics.
