Answer Key & Exam Content Writer (Government Exams)

Position Overview

We are hiring an Answer Key & Exam Content Writer (Government Exams) to create accurate, well-structured, and SEO-friendly job/exam listing pages for government exam updates. You will convert raw notifications and web page content (e.g., answer key releases, admit cards, results, online forms) into clear, user-focused content with consistent formatting, correct dates, and actionable steps for candidates.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the ecosystem of competitive exams (State PSC, SSC, UPSC, Railways, Banking, Teaching, etc.), can interpret official notices, and can present information in a concise and trustworthy manner.


Responsibilities

  • Draft and publish exam update pages (e.g., answer key, result, admit card, syllabus, online form) using structured templates and clean HTML formatting.
  • Extract key details from official notifications and source pages: exam name, conducting body, dates, vacancy counts, selection process, eligibility, and important links.
  • Create step-by-step instructions for candidates (e.g., how to download answer keys, how to raise objections, login flow, required credentials).
  • Ensure content accuracy and consistency across fields such as important dates, status updates, and link labels (PDF, objection link, official website).
  • Write short summaries and metadata elements (titles, tags, categories, aliases) optimized for discoverability without clickbait.
  • Maintain editorial quality: grammar, clarity, neutrality, and compliance with platform policies.
  • Coordinate with editors/QA to verify facts against official sources and correct discrepancies quickly.
  • Update existing pages when revised answer keys, objection outcomes, or final keys are released.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in content writing/editing, preferably in education, government exams, or news-style updates.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret official notifications and convert them into user-friendly content.
  • Excellent English writing skills; ability to handle Hindi snippets/translations is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with structured templates and writing valid HTML (paragraphs, headings, lists, links).
  • High attention to detail for dates, numbers (vacancies), and procedural steps.
  • Basic SEO understanding (keyword intent, readable titles, internal linking practices).
  • Familiarity with common government exam workflows: login portals, objection windows, OMR/CBT answer keys, and result formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple updates daily and meet tight publishing timelines.
