Responsibilities
- Perform duties as assigned within the respective unit (Prohibition, Jail Warder, or Mobile Squad) in accordance with departmental rules and procedures.
- Support enforcement operations, maintain discipline, and assist in public safety and institutional security functions.
- Participate in training, drills, and physical readiness activities as required.
- Maintain professional conduct, follow lawful instructions, and complete duty-related documentation when assigned.
Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Qualification (All Posts): Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from any recognized board in India.
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
- Prohibition Constable / Mobile Squad Constable:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: General 25 years, OBC 27 years, SC/ST 30 years
- Maximum (OBC/EBC Female): 28 years
- Jail Warder:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: General 23 years, OBC 25 years, SC/ST 28 years
- Maximum (OBC/EBC Female): 26 years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Bihar Police CSBC recruitment rules.
Driving License Requirement (Mobile Squad / as specified): Candidates must hold a valid LMV/HMV driving license as on 26 September 2025, along with good knowledge of traffic rules and basic vehicle repairing.
