Role Overview
As an AAO/AE, you will support LIC’s core functions through administration, analysis, compliance, and/or engineering project execution depending on your stream. This position may involve cross-functional coordination, process improvement, reporting, and adherence to regulatory and internal governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support branch/office operations through planning, coordination, documentation, and reporting.
- Analyze operational and financial data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, applicable regulations, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet service and delivery timelines.
- Specialist Streams:
- CA: financial reporting, accounting controls, audit coordination, compliance support.
- CS: corporate governance support, statutory filings, board/committee documentation.
- Actuarial: pricing/reserving support, risk analysis, actuarial reporting assistance.
- Insurance Specialist: product/process support, business insights, policy servicing improvements.
- Legal: legal documentation review, claim/litigation support, compliance advisory assistance.
- AE (Civil/Electrical):
- Assist in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects and related infrastructure.
- Support vendor/contractor coordination, site supervision, quality checks, and documentation.
- Contribute to project tracking, safety adherence, and timely completion of deliverables.
Requirements
- Age: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 30–32 years (post-wise), as per LIC recruitment rules and relaxations.
- Education (Stream-wise):
- AAO (Generalist): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution in India (or equivalent recognized by Government).
- AE (Civil): B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE-recognized institution; minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in planning/execution of multi-storied building projects with required infrastructure.
- AE (Electrical): B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized institution; minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in planning/execution of multi-storied building projects with required infrastructure.
- AAO (CA): Bachelor’s degree + ICAI Final passed + completion of Articles; Associate member of ICAI (membership number required and verified).
- AAO (CS): Bachelor’s degree + Qualified Member of ICSI.
- AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s degree + at least 6 papers cleared of Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) as of 1 Aug 2025; membership number required and verified.
- AAO (Insurance Specialist): Bachelor’s degree + Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (Life) + minimum 5 years experience in IRDAI-regulated life insurance companies.
- AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law (UGC recognized) with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD against reserved vacancies).
- Strong communication, analytical ability, and comfort working in structured processes and regulated environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
