Position: Kerala PG Medical Cutoff Marks Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to track, validate, and publish Kerala PG medical cutoff marks and related admission insights. This role focuses on compiling official updates, maintaining accurate datasets, and producing clear, student-friendly content for web publication. You will work closely with content, SEO, and product teams to ensure information is timely, verifiable, and presented in an accessible format.
Responsibilities
- Monitor official sources (exam boards, counselling authorities, notifications) for cutoff marks, merit lists, seat allotment updates, and counselling schedules.
- Collect, clean, and validate cutoff data across categories, quotas, rounds, and colleges; ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Create and maintain structured cutoff tables (Round-wise, Category-wise, College-wise, Specialty-wise) for publication.
- Draft and update web pages with concise explanations of cutoff trends, eligibility implications, and counselling steps.
- Coordinate with editorial and compliance teams to ensure content is factual, non-misleading, and properly attributed.
- Ensure pages meet on-page SEO and accessibility standards (headings, internal links, descriptive labels, and readable formatting).
- Respond to user queries and feedback by verifying concerns and issuing timely corrections or clarifications.
- Maintain an archive of historical cutoff data for trend analysis and year-over-year comparisons.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for Statistics, Data Science, Life Sciences, Public Health, or related fields.
- 1+ years experience in education content, data research, or admissions/exam domain work (freshers with strong skills may apply).
- Strong ability to interpret official notices, PDFs, and tabular data with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets): filters, pivots, lookups, and basic data validation.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex admission information.
- Comfortable working with CMS tools and HTML basics for formatting (tables, lists, headings).
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to source-based publishing.
- Ability to work under deadlines during counselling and results cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with NEET PG/medical counselling processes, quotas, reservation categories, and round-wise allotments.
- Experience creating structured web content (cutoff pages, notices, FAQs) and maintaining evergreen updates.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (Search Console/GA) to monitor page performance and user intent.
