This role supports the safety and security operations of the Bihar Vidhan Parishad premises and associated facilities. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining vigilance, controlling access, assisting with incident response, and ensuring adherence to security protocols as per organizational rules and instructions.

Responsibilities

Maintain security and vigilance at designated posts, entry/exit points, and sensitive areas.
Control access by verifying identity/authorization of employees, visitors, and vendors as per procedures.
Conduct patrolling (foot/assigned routes) and report suspicious activity immediately to supervisors.
Assist in crowd management during official events, public visits, and high-footfall periods.

Requirements

Education: Passed Class 12th (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India.
Physical Standards (PST):
- Male height: 167.5 cm
- Female height: 154.6 cm
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2023):
- Minimum: 18–21 years
- Maximum: 37 years
- Age relaxation: As per Bihar Legislative Council (Sachivalaya) rules
Selection Process: Written Exam / CBT and Physical Standard Test (PST).
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Strong integrity, alertness, and ability to follow instructions and protocols.
