Responsibilities

  • Participate in apprenticeship training as per Western Railway/RRC guidelines and assigned trade requirements.
  • Assist in day-to-day technical and operational tasks under supervision in workshops, sheds, depots, or other railway units (as applicable).
  • Follow safety procedures, standard operating practices, and railway compliance requirements during training.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, and complete assigned practical and theoretical modules.
  • Support teams with basic maintenance, inspection, and tool handling activities as per trade and training plan.

Requirements

  • Education: 10th pass from a recognized institution/school.
  • Technical Qualification: ITI pass in relevant trade from a recognized institute.
  • Age Limit: 15 to 24 years (age relaxation applicable as per rules).
  • Ability to provide valid documentation for eligibility, identity, category, and qualification during verification.
  • Willingness to undergo training and work in assigned railway units/locations as per administrative requirements.
