We are seeking a detail-oriented Cutoff Marks Analyst to research, compile, validate, and publish accurate cutoff marks and related admission metrics for universities and entrance examinations. This role is ideal for someone who can interpret official notices, results, merit lists, and counseling updates, and convert them into clear, structured, and user-friendly information for students and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor official university/exam portals, notifications, press releases, and counseling updates to identify new cutoff/merit information.
  • Collect, normalize, and maintain cutoff marks data by category, course, campus/college, round, and year (as applicable).
  • Verify accuracy by cross-checking against official sources and maintaining an audit trail of URLs, publication dates, and document versions.
  • Create structured summaries and insights (e.g., year-over-year trends, round-wise changes, category-wise comparisons) while ensuring factual integrity.
  • Prepare publication-ready content for web pages, including tables, short explanations, FAQs, and important links.
  • Coordinate with content/SEO teams to ensure correct taxonomy (tags, categories) and consistent naming conventions.
  • Maintain internal datasets/spreadsheets and document update workflows to ensure timely refreshes.
  • Respond to internal queries regarding cutoff interpretation, eligibility thresholds, and data discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Statistics, Data/Information Management, or related fields preferred).
  • 1+ year experience in education content, admissions research, data compilation, or similar analytical/content operations role (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret official notices, PDFs, merit lists, and results.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; ability to spot inconsistencies and resolve them using official references.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets): filters, pivot tables, data cleaning, and formatting.
  • Comfortable working with HTML-friendly content inputs (basic understanding of headings, lists, tables is a plus).
  • Strong written communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is an advantage for interpreting regional notices.
  • Ability to manage multiple updates under deadlines (e.g., during counseling rounds and result seasons).
