Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) invites applications for the recruitment of Lecturers under the Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education (Lecturer Cadre ‘Group-C’) Service (General Branch and Women’s Branch) Examination-2024. This opportunity is for qualified candidates with a relevant Post Graduate degree and teaching qualification to join the state education system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver subject-specific lectures and classroom instruction as per the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental guidelines.
• Evaluate student performance, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support academic activities such as remedial sessions, mentoring, and co-curricular/departmental initiatives.
• Participate in institutional duties as assigned, including examination-related responsibilities and academic committees.
• Maintain discipline, inclusivity, and a positive learning environment consistent with government education norms.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate (PG) in the relevant subject from a recognized university in India and LT Diploma or B.Ed. (as applicable).
• Age Limit (as on 01 July 2024): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 42 years.
• Age Relaxation: As per UKPSC recruitment rules.
• Ability to teach effectively, communicate clearly, and manage classroom dynamics.
• Willingness to comply with UKPSC/departmental procedures and service rules.
