Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operational activities aligned to the allotted discipline (mines, plant, workshop, quality, environment, commercial, etc.).
  • Assist in implementing safety, statutory compliance, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform technical inspections, reporting, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in training and on-the-job learning as per the trainee program structure.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, maintenance, and process efficiency.

Requirements

General:

  • Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 32 years (as per cutoff date); relaxation as applicable.
  • Must meet discipline-specific educational qualification and certification requirements.
  • For select diploma-based roles, relevant post-qualification experience may be required as specified below.

Discipline-wise Qualification (as per notification summary):

  • Commercial: Degree in Engineering OR Graduate with MBA/PG Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Foreign Trade/Sales Management OR Graduate with CA/ICMA.
  • Environment: Degree in Civil/Chemical/Mining/Environment Engineering OR PG Degree in Environmental Management/Engineering/Environmental Science/Geology/Chemistry/Botany OR PG Degree/Diploma in Environment Management (2 years) OR Doctorate in Environment Studies/Impact Assessment.
  • Geo & QC: M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.)/M.Tech in Geology.
  • Mining: (a) 3-year Diploma in Mining Engineering with Foreman’s Certificate of Competency (open cast metalliferous mine) OR (b) Degree in Mining Engineering with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (open cast metalliferous mine).
    For Diploma holders: minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
  • Survey: 3-year Diploma in Mining OR Diploma in Mines & Mine Surveying with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of competency under MMR.
    Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
  • Chemical: M.Sc. (Chemistry) OR Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Civil: 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Degree in Civil Engineering.
    Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
  • Electrical: 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency OR Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
    Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
  • IE: Degree in Industrial Engineering OR Degree in Mining/Mechanical/Production Engineering with PG Degree/Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
  • Mechanical: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
