Social Security Assistant (SSA) – EPFO

Employee’s Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is inviting applications for the position of Social Security Assistant (SSA). This role supports core administrative and data processing functions related to social security services, requiring strong computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and verification activities for EPFO operational workflows.
  • Maintain and update digital records in internal systems as per defined procedures.
  • Assist in processing routine office work including documentation, file handling, and record management.
  • Support departmental teams in day-to-day administrative tasks and service delivery operations.
  • Ensure data confidentiality, compliance, and adherence to organizational guidelines.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/college.
  • Data Entry Skill: Minimum 5000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
  • Computer Certification (Preferred): Computer training certificate from a recognized institute.
  • Age Limit (as on 21/July/2019): 18 to 27 years.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
  • Ability to work with accuracy, meet timelines, and follow standardized processes.

Compensation

  • Pay Scale: Rs. 25,500/- (Level 7 as per 7th Pay Commission)
