Position: Homoeopathic Pharmacist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Homoeopathic Pharmacist to support dispensing, inventory management, and patient counseling for homoeopathic medicines. This role requires strong knowledge of homoeopathic formulations, compliance with applicable regulations, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clinicians and administrative teams to ensure safe and accurate medication services.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense homoeopathic medicines accurately as per prescription/authorized requisitions, ensuring correct potency, dosage form, labeling, and instructions.
  • Review prescriptions for completeness and appropriateness; clarify discrepancies with the prescribing practitioner when required.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for homoeopathic drugs (including mother tinctures, dilutions, globules, and related preparations) and ensure segregation to prevent mix-ups.
  • Manage inventory: receipt, stocking, batch tracking, expiry monitoring, and timely reordering to prevent shortages.
  • Maintain documentation and registers as per organizational policy and regulatory requirements (e.g., stock registers, dispensing records, indent records).
  • Provide patient counseling on dosage, administration methods, precautions, storage, and expected outcomes; address patient queries professionally.
  • Support quality and safety practices, including incident reporting, corrective actions, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Coordinate with procurement/vendors for approved products, ensuring quality checks and proper invoicing documentation.
  • Assist in audits/inspections and ensure readiness of pharmacy records and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to streamline pharmacy operations and improve patient experience.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification as applicable to homoeopathic pharmacy practice.
  • Registration with the relevant pharmacy council/authority (as required by local regulations).
  • Working knowledge of homoeopathic medicines, potencies, dispensing practices, and common dosage forms.
  • Experience in a pharmacy/dispensary setting preferred; fresh candidates may be considered based on competence and training.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems, documentation, and email communication.
  • Good communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, maintain confidentiality, and comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.
