Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Eligibility to appear for and qualify in the relevant State Judicial Services examination (PCS J).
  • Strong knowledge of civil laws and procedural frameworks (e.g., CPC, Evidence Act, Limitation Act, and related statutes as applicable).
  • Excellent legal writing and reasoning skills, with the ability to produce well-structured judgments.
  • High integrity, impartiality, and commitment to public service.
  • Effective communication, courtroom management, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Comfort with digital case management tools and official online portals (where applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in litigation, legal drafting, or judicial clerkship.
