Position: Junior Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Junior Clerk to support day-to-day administrative and clerical operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are organized, comfortable working with records and documentation, and able to assist customers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Clerk will contribute to accurate data handling, file management, and routine office coordination while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical and administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning, and document organization.
- Maintain accurate records, registers, and office documentation (physical and digital) in accordance with internal procedures.
- Support data entry activities and ensure correctness and completeness of information.
- Assist with customer/service desk support by responding to routine queries and directing requests to the appropriate team.
- Prepare standard letters, memos, and reports using office productivity tools.
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate smooth processing of routine workflows.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain dispatch/receipt logs where applicable.
- Follow confidentiality and compliance requirements while handling sensitive information.
- Support other assigned tasks related to office operations and administrative coordination.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (or equivalent qualification as required by the hiring organization).
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and comfort working with online portals.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and a professional, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Prior clerical/administrative experience is an advantage but not mandatory (role may be suitable for freshers depending on organizational criteria).
