Position: UPSC Geo Scientist (CGSE) – Reserve List Support & Coordination Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support end-to-end coordination and candidate assistance related to UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Examination (CGSE) processes, including reserve list updates, result/marks dissemination, admit card guidance, and candidate query resolution. This role focuses on ensuring accurate communication of examination milestones (prelims, mains, results, reserve list) and helping candidates navigate official resources and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Track and compile key UPSC CGSE updates including reserve list publication, results, marks, admit card availability, and examination schedules.
- Prepare clear, accurate candidate-facing instructions for accessing reserve lists, results, marks, and admit cards through official portals.
- Assist candidates with common access issues (e.g., registration/roll number retrieval guidance, DOB/password entry, captcha troubleshooting) while maintaining security and privacy best practices.
- Maintain structured records of important dates (e.g., prelims, mains, reserve list release) and ensure timely internal and external communications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to publish and validate links/resources (official website, notifications, results, syllabus, previous year papers).
- Ensure content quality: verify exam names, notice numbers, vacancy counts, and status updates before publication.
- Respond to candidate inquiries via email/chat/phone (as applicable) with professional, policy-compliant guidance.
- Escalate discrepancies or critical issues (broken links, conflicting dates, incorrect post counts) to supervisors for resolution.
- Support periodic reporting on query volumes, recurring issues, and recommended improvements to candidate guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in public sector exams, education services, or administrative coordination.
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, support, content coordination, or examination-related services (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information against official sources.
- Excellent written communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
- Comfortable working with web portals and forms; ability to guide users through login and download steps.
- Basic understanding of UPSC examination workflows (prelims/mains/results/reserve list) is highly desirable.
- High integrity and commitment to confidentiality, especially when dealing with candidate identifiers.
- Ability to manage multiple updates simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
