The Indian Navy invites online applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers for the June 2024 batch across Executive, Technical, and Education branches. Candidates will be shortlisted and selected as per the notified selection process and applicable service rules.
Responsibilities
- Perform officer-level duties as per the allotted branch/role (Executive/Technical/Education) and operational requirements of the Indian Navy.
- Support naval operations, administration, training, engineering/technical readiness, and mission execution as applicable to the selected post.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, leadership, and professional conduct in accordance with naval regulations.
- Undertake role-specific responsibilities such as operations planning, logistics coordination, air operations support, engineering maintenance oversight, or instructional/training duties (as applicable).

Requirements
Age Limit: As per post/branch (age relaxation as per rules).
Educational Qualification (Minimum 60% where specified):
- Executive Branch – GS (X): BE/B.Tech in any stream with minimum 60% marks.
- Executive Branch – ATC / NAOO / Pilot: BE/B.Tech in any stream with minimum 60% marks; additionally, 60% aggregate in Class X and XII and minimum 60% in English in Class X or Class XII.
- Executive Branch – Logistics: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks OR MBA (First Class) OR MCA/M.Sc IT (First Class) OR B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc IT (First Class) with PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management.
- Technical Branch – GS Engineering: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in eligible disciplines including: Aeronautical, Aero Space, Automobiles, Control Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical/Mechanical with Automation, Marine, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Production.
- Technical Branch – GS Electrical: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in eligible disciplines including: Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Applied Electronics and Communication (AEC), Electronics & Tele Communication, Tele Communication, Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Power Engineering, Power Electronics.
