Position: State Service Examination (SSE) Officer
Organization: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC)
Overview: CGPSC invites applications for the State Service Examination (SSE) to fill a total of 246 posts. Selected candidates will serve in key administrative and public service roles across the state, contributing to governance, policy implementation, and citizen-centric service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of government policies, programs, and administrative directives at assigned departments/field offices.
- Assist in planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of public service initiatives and departmental targets.
- Handle administrative functions including drafting notes, orders, correspondence, and maintaining official records.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (citizens, local bodies, departments, and other agencies) to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in inspections, field visits, grievance handling, and compliance reviews as required.
- Ensure adherence to applicable rules, procedures, and service regulations.
- Contribute to data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports for senior officials.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university/college (as per official notification).
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years; maximum 28–40 years (post-wise), as per CGPSC rules. Age relaxation applicable as per recruitment rules.
- Eligibility: Candidates must meet all criteria stated in the official CGPSC SSE notification.
- Core Skills: Strong communication, administrative aptitude, analytical thinking, and ability to work in structured government processes.
- Other: Willingness to work in field and office environments as per role requirements.
