Responsibilities

  • Undergo military training and perform duties as assigned based on selected trade (GD/Technical/Clerk/Store Keeper/Tradesman).
  • Maintain discipline, physical fitness, and operational readiness in accordance with Indian Army standards.
  • Execute tasks related to field operations, technical maintenance, administrative/logistics support, or trade-specific duties.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, safety procedures, and codes of conduct.
  • Participate in assessments, drills, and deployments as required.

Eligibility

Age Limit

Educational Qualifications (Trade-wise)

  • Agniveer GD (All Arms): Class 10 (Matric) with 45% overall and minimum 33% in each subject from a recognized board.
  • Agniveer Technical (All Arms) / Technical Aviation / Ammunition Examiner: 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and minimum 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject; or 10+2 plus 1-year ITI diploma course (as per notification).
  • Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical): 10+2 in any stream with minimum 60% overall and minimum 50% in each subject from a recognized board.
  • Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass): Class 10 with minimum 33% in each subject from a recognized board.
  • Agniveer Tradesman (8th Pass): Class 8 with minimum 33% in each subject from a recognized board.
