Responsibilities
- Perform post-specific duties in workshops, labs, training centers, or technical education environments as applicable.
- Support instructional delivery for vocational/technical subjects (e.g., calculation & science, employability skills, craft/trade instruction).
- Assist in workshop operations, maintenance, and safe handling of tools/equipment where relevant.
- Maintain discipline, records, and documentation as required by the department/institution.
- Comply with DSSSB/departmental procedures, safety standards, and administrative requirements.
Eligibility & Requirements
Age Limit (as on 07 April 2023):
- Workshop Attendant: 18–27 years
- All Other Posts: Maximum 30 years (may vary by post)
Educational Qualifications (post-specific):
- Workshop Attendant: Class 10th pass with Science and Mathematics + ITI certificate.
- Workshop Calculation and Science Instructor: BE/B.Tech in related trade with 1 year experience or Diploma in related trade with 2 years experience.
- Employability Skills Instructor: English up to Class 12th with 1-year certificate course in Basic Computer and MBA or Bachelor in Business Administration with 2 years experience or Bachelor degree with one of the subjects Sociology/Social Welfare/Economics with 2 years experience.
- Craft Instructor – Fitter (for NTC/STC/NAC holders): Class 10th pass with Science and Mathematics + ITI certificate in related trade with 3 years experience.
- Other Posts: As per DSSSB notification for the respective post.
