Position: Patna High Court Translator

Responsibilities
- Translate legal, judicial, and administrative documents with accuracy, consistency, and appropriate legal terminology.
- Review, proofread, and edit translated content to ensure clarity, correctness, and adherence to court standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive case-related information responsibly.
- Coordinate with court officials and relevant departments to clarify terminology and context when required.
- Support preparation of bilingual documents, notices, correspondence, and reports as assigned.
- Maintain translation records, glossaries, and terminology databases to ensure consistency across documents.
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple translation tasks simultaneously in a structured workflow.
Requirements
- Proven proficiency in translation between the required languages (as per Patna High Court norms for the Translator role).
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar, punctuation, and formatting abilities.
- Working knowledge of legal terminology and the ability to interpret context accurately.
- Ability to type and format documents professionally using standard office software.
- High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
- Integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
