Civil Judge (Junior Division)

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Civil Judge (Junior Division). This role is responsible for adjudicating civil matters at the junior division level, ensuring fair application of the law, and delivering reasoned judicial orders and judgments. Requirements

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution and eligibility to practice law as required by applicable rules.
  • Strong knowledge of civil law, procedural law, evidence, and constitutional principles relevant to judicial service.
  • Excellent legal drafting skills, including preparation of orders, judgments, and official correspondence.
  • High standards of integrity, impartiality, and professional ethics.
  • Ability to analyze complex facts and legal issues, and to apply precedent and statutory interpretation.
  • Effective communication skills to manage courtroom proceedings and interact with litigants, lawyers, and court personnel.
