Position: Junior Engineer (JE) – Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)
Overview: We are seeking qualified engineering graduates/diploma holders for the role of Junior Engineer across multiple railway zones. This position supports the planning, execution, inspection, and maintenance of railway engineering works and systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of engineering works related to track, structures, electrical, signaling, or allied disciplines (as per allotted trade).

- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and cross-functional railway teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Help troubleshoot operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain documentation such as inspection notes, material usage records, and compliance checklists.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline/trade (as per RRB eligibility for JE).
- Basic understanding of engineering principles, field execution practices, and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Comfort with computer-based systems for exams/records and basic reporting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, field-based environment.
- Willingness to work across different locations/zones as per organizational requirements.
