Position: KAU Admissions Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Admissions Coordinator to support the end-to-end admissions process for KAU programs. This role is responsible for coordinating application workflows, ensuring accurate documentation, supporting applicants through key milestones, and maintaining compliance with institutional policies and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the admissions cycle, including application intake, document verification, eligibility checks, and status updates.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person channels with professionalism and clarity.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in admissions systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • Support the publication and communication of admissions notices, key dates, and instructions for applicants.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination for entrance examinations, interviews, counseling sessions, or document verification activities as applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain checklists, reports, and dashboards related to applications received, pending documentation, and overall admissions progress.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and administrative teams to ensure admissions decisions and communications are executed efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to institutional guidelines, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance applicant experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Education, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education administration, customer service, or an operations coordination role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-volume workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and applicant-friendly approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; experience with admissions/CRM systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfortable coordinating with internal stakeholders and working in a process-driven environment.
