Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day banking activities aligned to assigned role (e.g., branch operations, credit, risk, compliance, audit, or business development).
- Drive customer acquisition, portfolio growth, and relationship management for assigned segments (retail/SME/corporate), where applicable.
- Assess credit proposals, perform financial analysis, prepare/validate appraisal notes, and ensure adherence to internal credit policies.
- Monitor asset quality, early warning signals, and support recovery/collections initiatives as required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, KYC/AML guidelines, and audit observations.
- Prepare periodic MIS, dashboards, and reports for management review; ensure data accuracy and timely submissions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, product, legal, risk, and IT) to resolve issues and improve process efficiency.
- Support implementation of new products, process changes, and digital initiatives; assist in training/mentoring junior staff where applicable.
Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance, Management) from a recognized institution; professional qualifications may be preferred for certain roles.
- Relevant experience in banking/financial services aligned to the applied scale and functional area (e.g., operations, credit, risk, compliance, audit, treasury, or relationship management).
- Strong understanding of banking products, documentation, and regulatory compliance (KYC/AML/CTF) as applicable to role.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, interpret key ratios, and evaluate risk (for credit/risk roles).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); comfort with core banking systems and digital tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer-centric approach.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under timelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling audits, regulatory inspections, or compliance testing.
- Exposure to portfolio management, underwriting, or monitoring of SME/corporate accounts.
- Knowledge of process improvement, controls, and operational risk management.
- Sales orientation and proven track record in meeting business targets (for RM/business roles).
