Rural Works Department (RWD), Government of Bihar is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Engineer (AE) – Civil. Responsibilities

Coordinate with local stakeholders and authorities for smooth execution of works and timely issue resolution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Working knowledge of civil construction methods, quality control practices, and site supervision.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Familiarity with estimation, billing/measurement, and basic contract administration.
Proficiency in common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, documentation) and engineering tools (e.g., CAD) is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field conditions as required.
