Central Cooperative Bank is seeking detail-oriented, service-driven professionals to join our branch and back-office operations as an Officer and/or Senior Assistant. This role supports core banking functions including customer servicing, account operations, compliance documentation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day banking activities.

Responsibilities
- Handle customer service at branch counters and through assisted channels; resolve queries related to accounts, deposits, and banking services.
- Support account opening processes, KYC verification, documentation checks, and record maintenance as per regulatory and internal policies.
- Process day-to-day banking operations such as cash/clearing support, vouchers, remittances, and basic ledger/accounting entries (role-dependent).
- Assist in compliance activities including audit readiness, document verification, and adherence to SOPs and banking regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments for transaction processing, reporting, and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare routine operational reports; ensure timely escalation of exceptions.
- Support branch initiatives for customer onboarding, service quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in training, process updates, and periodic reviews to stay aligned with policy and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce/Accounting/Finance preferred). Additional qualifications in banking, accounting, or computer applications are an advantage.
- Experience:
- Officer: Prior banking/financial services experience preferred; strong understanding of branch operations and compliance is a plus.
- Senior Assistant: Experience in customer service, clerical operations, or banking back-office support preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer handling skills.
- Attention to detail and comfort with documentation and process adherence.
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts and transaction processing.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office; familiarity with core banking systems is a plus).
- Other: Ability to work in a regulated environment, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with teams.
