Responsibilities

- Evaluate student performance through examinations, internal assessments, lab work, and project reviews; maintain accurate academic records.

- Support departmental academic administration, including timetable coordination, exam duties, and student advising.
- Participate in curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives to keep course content current with industry and regulatory standards.
- Encourage safe practices and compliance with laboratory/workshop safety procedures relevant to mining and engineering education.
- Contribute to institutional activities such as seminars, workshops, committees, and outreach programs as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering) in Mining Engineering/Mining Technology with First Class or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Teaching/Academic Aptitude: Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Subject Knowledge: Solid understanding of core mining engineering areas such as mine planning, rock mechanics, drilling & blasting, mine ventilation, mineral processing basics, safety management, and relevant regulations.
- Assessment Skills: Ability to design fair evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Digital Proficiency: Comfort with common academic tools (LMS, online teaching platforms, MS Office/Google Workspace) for content delivery and record-keeping.
- Eligibility & Compliance: Must meet applicable recruitment rules and verification requirements as prescribed by the hiring authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Mining Engineering or a closely related specialization.
- Prior teaching, training, or industry experience in mining operations, safety, planning, or geotechnical work.
