Position: LDC/JSA, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant & Data Entry Operator (DEO) via SSC CHSL (10+2) Examination

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day clerical and office support work including file handling, record maintenance, and documentation.
  • Draft, type, and format letters, notices, and office communications as required.
  • Data entry and verification tasks (for DEO and other roles where applicable), ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Assist in maintaining registers, databases, and official records (physical and digital).
  • Support dispatch/receipt operations, including inward/outward correspondence and basic tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and follow instructions from supervising officers.
  • Comply with government rules, confidentiality requirements, and departmental procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: 10+2 (Higher Secondary/Intermediate) passed from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (age relaxation as per government/SSC rules).
  • Eligibility: Open to candidates from all states/UTs of India, subject to post-specific conditions and SSC rules.
  • Skills: Basic computer proficiency; typing/skill capability as required by post and test.
  • Documents (for online application): Scanned photograph and signature (as per SSC specifications).

Compensation
