This apprenticeship opportunity is designed for candidates who have completed basic schooling and hold an NCVT-certified ITI qualification in a relevant trade. Selected apprentices will receive training and stipend as per applicable apprenticeship rules and the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
Responsibilities
- Participate in structured apprenticeship training aligned to the assigned trade (e.g., COPA, Electrician, Fitter, Stenography, etc.).
- Follow training schedules, safety procedures, and workplace policies during on-the-job learning.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and performance standards as required for apprenticeship programs.
- Assist with trade-related tasks under supervision to build practical skills and competency.
- Provide required documentation and comply with verification and onboarding processes.
Requirements
- Education: Passed Class 10th / 8th level examination (as applicable) and possess an ITI certificate in a relevant trade from a recognized institute (NCVT certified).
- Age (as on 23-July-2019):
- Minimum age for COPA, Draughtsman & Secretarial Assistant trades: 16 years
- Minimum age for all other trades: 18 years
- Maximum age: Not specified (age relaxation as per rules)
- Prior apprenticeship: Applicants should ensure they have not been previously engaged in apprenticeship training.
- Selection: Based on Merit List.
