We are seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Lecturer (Mathematics). The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student learning outcomes, and contributing to academic excellence within government institutions in Bihar.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and tutorials in Mathematics in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments to support effective learning.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, tests, assignments, and other academic activities.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation as per institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students, including doubt-clearing and remedial support where required.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional activities as assigned.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to teaching methodology and student outcomes.
- Comply with applicable government rules, service conduct, and institutional policies.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in Mathematics with First Division marks.
- Age Limit (as on 01-Aug-2020): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 65 years (age relaxation as per government rules).
- Eligibility: Candidates from all states are eligible to apply, subject to meeting the qualification criteria.
- Skills: Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, effective communication, classroom management, and assessment capabilities.
- Documentation: Ability to provide self-attested copies of required documents, including age proof, educational certificates/marksheets, caste certificate (if applicable), and PwD certificate (if applicable).
