Responsibilities

Execute technical and trade-specific duties as per the assigned role (e.g., electrical, mechanical, civil, drafting, plumbing, surveying, radiology support, administrative support).
Support operational readiness through maintenance, repair, installation, and field assistance activities aligned with Assam Rifles standards.
Maintain discipline, follow instructions, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
Participate in required physical and trade/technical assessments as part of selection and ongoing service requirements.

Requirements (Eligibility & Educational Qualification)

Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant): 12th/Intermediate from a recognized board; dictation 10 min @ 80 wpm and transcription 50 min (English) / 65 min (Hindi).
Religious Teacher: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
Rifleman (Lineman Field): Class 10th/High School + ITI (Electrician trade).
Rifleman (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic): Class 10th/High School + ITI (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic).
Naib Subedar (Bridge & Road) (Male & Female): Class 10th/High School + Diploma in Civil Engineering (Bridge & Road).
Naib Subedar (Electrical & Mechanical): Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Warrant Officer (Draughtsman): 12th/Intermediate + 3-year diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
Rifleman (Plumber): Class 10th/High School + ITI (Plumber trade).
Havildar (Surveyor ITI): Class 10th/High School + ITI (Surveyor trade).
Havildar (X-Ray Assistant): 12th/Intermediate + Diploma in Radiology.
