Responsibilities
- Participate in structured on-the-job training as per the apprenticeship curriculum and BHEL training guidelines.
- Support shop-floor operations and learn trade-specific skills under the supervision of experienced technicians and engineers.
- Follow safety procedures, workplace policies, and quality standards during training and practical assignments.
- Assist with basic maintenance, fabrication, installation, testing, or operational tasks aligned with the allotted trade.
- Maintain training records, complete assigned modules, and participate in evaluations/assessments as required.
Requirements
- Education: 10th/High School pass and ITI pass in the relevant trade from an NCVT-recognized institute.
- Age Limit (as on 01-Apr-2018):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 27 years
- Age Relaxation (upper age limit):
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwD/PH: 10 years
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Basic discipline, punctuality, and adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
