Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day metro operations in line with safety, service, and regulatory standards.
- Operate trains and manage station functions (for SC/TO) including adherence to operational protocols.
- Assist in engineering activities such as inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and documentation (for Junior Engineer roles).
- Deliver customer service at stations, handle passenger queries, and support ticketing/customer assistance processes (for CRA).
- Perform technical maintenance tasks on electrical/electronics/mechanical systems and equipment (for Maintainer roles).
- Participate in shift-based duties as required and comply with medical fitness requirements.
Requirements
- SC/TO: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade/level) or Mathematics/Physics as one of the subjects in Senior Secondary (10+2) / Higher Secondary (10+1) or equivalent.
- JE (Electrical): Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade/level).
- JE (Electronics): Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade/level).
- JE (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade/level).
- CRA: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent grade/level).
- Maintainer (Electrician): National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Electrician (minimum 2 years) issued by NCVT/DG E&T/Ministry of Labour & Employment/GoI or State Trade Certificate in Electrician (minimum 2 years) issued by SCVT.
- Maintainer (Electronics): NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic (minimum 2 years) issued by NCVT/DG E&T/Ministry of Labour & Employment/GoI or State Trade Certificate in Electronic Mechanic (minimum 2 years) issued by SCVT.
- Maintainer (Fitter): NTC/NAC in Fitter (minimum 2 years) issued by NCVT/DG E&T/Ministry of Labour & Employment/GoI or State Trade Certificate in Fitter (minimum 2 years) issued by SCVT.
- Ability to clear the Computer Based Test and meet medical fitness standards.
